The torque biasing principle uses internal worm gears to progressively transfer drive from one side of the car to the other if there is a loss in traction. It does this almost without feeling through the steering wheel - especially beneficial on front wheel drive cars or 4wd cars at the front. Anyone who has driven a front wheel drive car with a clutch plate or viscous diff will understand just what a difference the torque biasing design makes, to not only the feel and comfort, but also in the track times or just pure handling improvement.
